  92. I have made a correction to the setup installation that should correct
  93. the "Can not copy DDEML.DLL; target in use error message" that Microsoft
  94. says is not a bug.  I have removed the line in setup.lst which is
  95. DDEML.DL_. This should supposedly not copy DDEML.DLL into a Windows
  96. 3.1 or Windows for Work Groups 3.11 Windows system directory because it
  97. is not necessary.  If you are using Windows 3.0 then use a text editor
  98. and add a line DDEML.DL_ to the setup.lst on the installation disk.
  99. (FYI, The files in setup.lst are copied while setup is installing
  100. itself.)  If you get some warning about COMMDLG.DLL just hit the ignore
  101. button and continue.

  103. Another problem that you may encounter states that a VBX file is out of
  104. date.  If you encounter this message then rename the offending VBX file
  105. in your windows system directory to something else and then rerun the
  106. Fontbook setup.  Several authors have changed the dates on THREED.VBX and
  107. thereby confusing the installation program.  It will not overlay
  108. a more recent VBX file.  The versions included with this program are the
  109. latest.  You can tell the version number of a VBX file by using the
  110. properties command of Windows File Manager.

  112. I have just added a Type Ruler as one of the output sheets.  Also a Font
  113. Metric information button has been added.  More enhancements to come.

  115. This version contains fixes to the printing of the Type Ruler on HP
  116. Laserjet 4's. (Should also work for LJ3).  Additionally, with this
  117. release I am now a member of The Association of Shareware Professionals
  118. (ASP).

  120. This version eliminates the missing "MHRUN400.DLL" bug.  Additionally,
  121. this version should also correct the "380 invalid property message" when
  122. using LJ3 & LJ4 printers. It also eliminates duplicate character sets in
  123. the grid and is much faster when selecting fonts or sizes on screen.

  125. I have made some corrections to the specimen sheets that will avoid some
  126. printer errors. They also look nicer and contain a binding offset.  Other
  127. corrections are in the FontBook.WRI. You can now do a mult-select or
  128. de-select of fonts in the list by clicking and dragging or you can click
  129. one font and shift-click the ending font. In either case a group of
  130. fonts will be selected.

  168. 1- If you have downloaded this file from a bulletin board please
  169.    uncompress it onto a floppy disk or into a directory on your hard
  170.    drive and proceed to step 2.

  172. 2- If you have received a disk with the files uncompressed (i.e. there
  173.    is actually a setup.exe file and others present on the disk) please
  174.    start the installation from windows by using the FILE , RUN,
  175.    A:SETUP (depends on where the files are located).  This will install
  176.    the files in the appropriate directories.  If you are a REGISTERED
  177.    USER then type in your serial number (located on the disk label and
  178.    your name in the required fields.  This will eliminate the nag message
  179.    when the program loads and put your name in the "about" box.  If you
